Our fabric is only sold in metre intervals on the website if you require more specific measurements please contact us via email or phone (as shown below) and we'll be happy to help you.

Hoffman Challenge 2022-23
The New Zealand Hoffman Challenge has been running annually since 1993. Originally started by Grandmother's Garden quilt shop in Hamilton and is currently run by us here at Aroha Quilts
The challenge fabric is chosen from the Hoffman Fabric Collection USA each year.
The NZ rules are that it Must not be square or rectangular, but must fit within a metre squared, hence the interesting shapes. In 2020 it was added that it must be no smaller that 50cm squared insuring that pieces are of a reasonable size.
There must be a recognisable amount of the challenge fabric, visual impact, and workmanship.
All entries are eligible of viewers choice with 20 selected as finalists to travel the country for the next year.
